As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, (CDLP®), I focus my practice on helping divorcing homeowners make a more informed decision regarding their home equity solutions and the divorce team identify any potential conflicts between the divorce settlement, the mortgage, and the real property.

As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, the focus of my practice is to assist divorcing homeowners take and understand the necessary steps through their divorce to ensure both parties emerge financially healthy. I assist my clients in making informed decisions regarding their home equity solutions. My goal is always to establish long-term financial stability and prosperity for both parties. Through collaborative work on the settlement agreement, the mortgage, and real property we ensure both parties are positioned to purchase a new home and qualify for a mortgage when they are ready.

As someone who has been through the process myself, I know how overwhelming it can be. There is an enormous amount of change and a lot of information being thrown at you all at once. I am here to help you digest it all and plan your next steps. I will provide clarity and support. My mission is to help my clients separate emotion from logic and make wise family and financial decisions. There is life, and happiness, after a divorce.

This isn’t a one-size fits all process. I have over 20+ years of experience in the real estate and mortgage industry. I have acquired an in-depth understanding of loan programs, underwriting guidelines, and the knowledge to ensure we find the best mortgage and financial solutions for your unique situation.

I have deep ties to the community. I am a proud native Kansas Citian. I am a graduate of Olathe South High School. I graduated from UMKC with a B.S in Economics. I reside in the greater Kansas City area with my husband, 2 dogs, and my daughter owns a home a few blocks away. My husband and I spend our Saturday mornings on a quest for the best cup of coffee in KC. I spend my remaining free time in my pottery studio, hiking the many amazing trails in KC , reading a good book, punishing myself in a Crossfit class, reading a good book, and traveling….. I told you there was life after divorce.
