Fred L. “Chip” Coover, founder and principal attorney of the Coover Law Firm, serves clients across central Maryland in family law and civil litigation, including divorce, adoption, child custody, visitation, alimony, child support, construction law, land use, personal injury, and real estate law.
A Baltimore native, Mr. Coover earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Towson State University in 1980 and a combined MBA and Juris Doctor from the University of Baltimore in 1985. He is also a 2003 graduate of Leadership Howard County.
Dedicated to advancing the legal profession, Mr. Coover actively participates in local, state, and national bar associations. Since 2001, he has served on the Executive Council of the Maryland State Bar Association’s Committee for the Resolution of Fee Disputes.
