As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, (CDLP®), I focus my practice on helping divorcing homeowners make a more informed decision regarding their home equity solutions and the divorce team identify any potential conflicts between the divorce settlement, the mortgage, and the real property.
Jason Gordon is a Residential Mortgage Professional with a unique specialization in Divorce Mortgage Lending. Although Jason works with ALL Homebuyer & Homeowner Clients (regardless of their relationship status), a large percentage of his lending practice is devoted to aligning with Divorce Attorneys & Mediators on behalf of their Divorcing Clients to seek mortgage-related solutions before, during, and after divorce.
Specifically, Jason helps Divorcing Homeowners who desire to keep the marital home by determining if a "Divorce Equity Buyout" can be performed. Jason also assists Divorcing Home Buyers who seek to purchase a new home after divorce, while helping them navigate through the challenges of Spousal/Child Support, shared debts and contingent liabilities, as well as other divorce-related dynamics which are often present.
