As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, (CDLP®), I focus my practice on helping divorcing homeowners make a more informed decision regarding their home equity solutions and the divorce team identify any potential conflicts between the divorce settlement, the mortgage, and the real property.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a bit about me. I am a Texas native, but Franklin, Tennessee has been home for many years. I’m a proud graduate of Texas A&M University (whoop!), and I’ve built both my career and community here in Middle Tennessee.

I have two sons, Ryan and Reece, both graduates of the University of Tennessee, and I recently married my husband, Scott, who is originally from Boston. I am deeply grateful for the way life has brought our paths together and for the personal experiences that have shaped who I am professionally today.

I am a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®) with CrossCountry Mortgage. My path into the mortgage industry followed a long career in education and my own personal experience navigating divorce. During that time, I saw firsthand how overwhelming the financial and housing decisions can be—particularly when it comes to the marital home and future housing planning. I knew I wanted to find a career that allowed me to help others, provide clarity during difficult transitions, and offer meaningful value. Mortgage lending—and ultimately divorce mortgage planning—became that calling.

When I discovered the Certified Divorce Lending Professional designation, I knew I had found my specialty and my long-term career focus. Today, I am passionate about helping individuals, families, and family law professionals navigate the mortgage implications of divorce with confidence and clarity. I understand the process from both a personal and professional perspective and work diligently to help clients make informed, strategic decisions that support their long-term financial stability.

Divorce often involves complex questions around the marital home, refinancing, equity division, and financing future housing. My role is to help clients and their family law teams think through these scenarios proactively, ensuring they are well prepared for mediation, court, and life after divorce. I take pride in being a calm, knowledgeable resource during what can be an emotional and high-stakes time.

My divorce mortgage planning services are always complimentary to both clients and the family law professionals involved.

Please feel free to contact me to schedule a confidential consultation. I am licensed in Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.
