As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, (CDLP®), I focus my practice on helping divorcing homeowners make a more informed decision regarding their home equity solutions and the divorce team identify any potential conflicts between the divorce settlement, the mortgage, and the real property.

Having gone through my own divorce in 1999, I realized that there was a lot of information that wasn't addressed, and the attorneys were only educated on and interested in dividing the marital assets and didn't consider the fact that there is life after divorce. My role as a CDLP is to help integrate the mortgage selected into the overall long and short-term financial and investment goals, to help minimize tax, to minimize interest expense, and maximize cash flow. I offer a different perspective and my goal is to set the divorcing clients up for success post-divorce.
