As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, (CDLP™), I focus my practice on helping divorcing homeowners make a more informed decision regarding their home equity solutions and the divorce team identify any potential conflicts between the divorce settlement, the mortgage, and the real property.

Yvette is an military brat. Her father serviced in the United States Airforce for 28.5 years. She earned her BS degree in 1987.

Yvette Godfrey-Brown has been in the professional of mortgage lending for over 20 years. In that amount of time she has had the privilege of helping many borrowers in three major changing markets. As a Certified Divorce Lender, Yvette has come to believe that there are loans which exist for most types divorcing scenarios. She strongly enjoys and believes in a collaborative and a "it can be done" outlook when working with divorce borrowers. She has a steady and an assuring personality when consulting with both divorcing professionals and borrowers. She takes on a lets listen to all sides approach, thereby taking time to truly understand her borrowers', and divorcing professional partners overall goals, both short-term and long term. Yvette is known by her borrowers as "connect the dots" professional...Borrowers realize that she is unique because she takes the time to listen, communicate and answer their questions in terms they can answer. Yvette cares to get it right, because it matters when dealing with divorcing borrowers and professional partners. Yvette lives by a pledge, which she makes to all of borrowers, and that is to always provide a sincere commitment with consistency, outstanding service, and true diligence when striving to earn their business
