As a Certified Divorce Lending Professional, (CDLP®), I focus my practice on helping divorcing homeowners make a more informed decision regarding their home equity solutions and the divorce team identify any potential conflicts between the divorce settlement, the mortgage, and the real property.
I jumped into the mortgage industry in 1993 when fax machines, pagers and mobile phones in bags were considered high-tech. In my journey, I have spent time in just about every area of mortgage operations including underwriting, processing, assisting, construction managing and secondary marketing. It didn’t take too long, though, before I found my true passion; helping others purchase homes as a mortgage loan officer.
I have been a mortgage loan officer for most of my 29 years in the industry. I have experienced a lot of financing challenges and have developed a solutions-based approach to help others. My goal with every client is to treat them as I would my family. I provide honest feedback and explore numerous options to make sure my clients can choose the best “mortgage-fit” for their families whether it is a purchase, refinance, purchase-renovation, or construction to permanent loan.
Additionally, I am a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP®). I work with divorcing homeowners and their professional divorce teams to make more informed decisions during the settlement process so that both parties come out on the other end of the divorce as “whole” as possible and able to qualify for future mortgages as they enter into the next chapters of their lives.
